September takes us to the threshold between summer and autumn.
A season full of delicacies awaits us and at the Trattoria di Livergnano we start again with a dinner-tasting event with a first appointment dedicated to pumpkins. 
This vegetable can bring to the table not only the warm autumn colors, it can enrich with its delicacy and with its flavors the taste of all dishes thanks to its many varieties and – like a kind of “pig of the poor” – the use of all its parts (seeds, pulp, peel, flowers) that can be used not only in the kitchen.

June 15: black Truffle

The summer is at the door and the Trattoria Livergnano the truffle back protagonist at the dinner-tasting, now is dedicated to the black summer truffle.

Also called Scorzone for the round lining and often, can be picked up by the Quarrymen from May until the end of August, a delight for all summer. Its aromatic flavour, not immediate, has fruity and delicate notes that can also vaguely remember the porcini mushrooms.

The tasting proposes in combination the wines of the winery Masottina, from the Colli di Conegliano “Perla del Veneto”, City of Art and with a strong vocation for sparkling wine.

April 20: Asparagus. Dinner-tasting

New appointment with proposals for dinner-tasting at the restaurant Livergnano: Spring Blooms and here is a delicious sprout from the garden asparagus, vegetable with a thousand properties and virtues, known since antiquity.

March 23: The truffle Bianchetto or Marzuolo.

In this march from umbrella and hat, second appointment with the dinner-tasting at the Trattoria of Livergnano with a first season: the truffle bianchetto or Marzuolo.

These truffles are traditionally researched in Romagna, Tuscany and Marche. They owe the name of "Bianchetto" to distinguish them from the most noble white truffles and are also called "Marzuoli" for the harvest period (January-April). Thanks to the characteristic aroma, they are suitable to give "tone" to many dishes, simple and refined, from the appetizers, to the courses more of substance, to the sweets.

The tasting proposes in combination the wines of the Az. Agr. Demarie, a winery whose vineyards are immersed in a territory that has a vocation traditionally tartufigena, the Cuneese.

March 9: the artichokes. Tasting Dinner

And after the snow and the rain came the artichokes!

 

Friday evening March 9, with the new year and with the last (but decisive) blows of the tail of the general winter, after Neve and Buriana, to the Trattoria of Livergnano it starts again with the festival of tasting dinners with themed menus.

The first proposal for tasting dinners puts on the table a menu dedicated to artichoke. Tasty vegetable, so loved in Italian cuisine for the delicacy and versatility in the combinations, so much so that the biggest mistake in the kitchen with this delight is just do not eat it.

December 15: Artichokes Meet the Sea

Friday evening December 15, the Trattoria of Livergnano proposes a themed menu that can combine the delights of winter with the nostalgia of the flavours of summer: the Artichokes meet the sea.

A dinner for those who want to taste a combination of unusual tastes, last stop before the holiday season under the banner of tradition.
